In 2016, Mercedes unveiled the current Generation of the E-Class. In addition to the Sedan (W 213) and the Combination Version T-Model (S 213), the Convertible (A 238) has now completed the construction series family as the fourth Body Variant since Mid-2017. The E-Class Convertibles share the technical Platform with the Coupes, offering four Seats as well as an electrically actuated fabric top. Like Mercedes ‘ Other four-seat Convertibles (S-Class, C-Class), the open E-Class is less aligned with a Sports car than on a comfortable Outdoor Cruising car. The E-Class convertible is currently the only four-seat Convertible in the Upper Class.
